Fall is notorious for making me fall in love with jackets, coats, blazers trench and wool coats e.t.c. But something else I seem to enjoy lately is the process of layering-pairing my looks with different colors or patterns or finding my garment peaking out of a coat when the wind is blowing. These things are what fascinates me about fashion.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
WHBM COAT FOR FALL
Excitingly, I get to collaborate with one of my favorite brands again this fall. I collaborated with The White House Black Market (WHBM), last year and featured their clothing in various blog posts. See “Shades of Green: How to Style a Leather Leggings for Fall,” “How to Style a Monochrome look for Fall,” and “A Holiday Outfit Recommendation for Events.” Every piece of clothing I have gotten from the brand has been of the best quality and made me feel good. You can shop my Fall curated list here.
I chose to layer my WHBM coat with the Aura Sleeveless V-Neck. I love that I can dress this look up for a quick dinner and layer it for an official event. It is that time of the year that is replete with quite a number of events and I always want to dress the part. But what is more fun being asked, “what are you wearing?” and that question has come up mostly in a WHBM piece.
Clothing Quality and Price Point
As part of keeping to my ethics, I only collaborate with brands whose products I can purchase. I love the quality of WHBM products. I have had some of their pieces for a year, and they have made me standout at major events. I also love the price point because other brands have ripped people off their coins for way less quality. The quality of their products sets them apart, and they are durable too. The shipping timeline is commendable, and if you live in the DC area, you are guaranteed 48hrs of shipping time.
