this might be my first collaboration and I love it.
fashion and style blogger and youtube guru jewel of Style Optimist who I recently started following and fell in love with her ability to create her own style decided that we should do a collaboration on the African print.
and so today we are looking at the modern and trendy way to incorporate the Ankara (African Piece) to suit our daily lifestyle
its comes as a surprise, that not until recently the African Print in African countries and other parts of the world didn’t get so much notice in the fashion mainstream industry, and I’m only glad that this print has taken more of the world stage in recent years.

Necklace: Gifted
its also important to note that when wearing the ankara, because of its busy nature try to play down in accessories, allowing the beauty of the print speak for itself
Dress:Ankara/Woodin
Shoes: Bamboo
PART 2|| GO CASUAL
i know this is a long post and I apologise in advance for the pictures
The trick for going casual is that you just need a touch of the print and then you pair with a laid back look like i’ve done
the top is part of my summer collection I made and the material is from Woodin in Ghana
Flats from the zara women Spring/Summer 2014 collection
I hope you love it, love to see your feedback
