“Reading is Refreshing”. These same words have helped me retain my love for paperbacks or reading in general after my dad had stickers around the house carrying them. However, I won’t be say reading has been fun after all these years has passed. One fun fact remains, reading permits us to enter worlds that are obscure and far within reach.
After all these years I have my dad to thank for all my books. I am not an avid writer and barely know how to be witty with my words (I admire people who know how) but I enjoy knowing what I know now.
I recently took this picture of myself reading a romance novel, which I advice is the best way to pick up your reading speed. Reading can be boring however it is enjoyable when you start off with materials that bring you back to books.

Hi Grace, I totally agree with you. I love reading, mostly during the holidays. I'm currently reading Half of a yellow sun by Chimamada, and loving it so far. I'm trying to read more Nigerian books to understand our history better. I can finish a book in three days, or a year, it depends on how interesting the book is, and my state of mind then.

I love the way this was shot. And your edits are just on point. I am a book worm but I can say that I've not picked up a physical book to read in the longest time as I do my reading on the screen. I love the smell of books and don't mind living in the library hahaha. There is something therapeutic in reading and also, as someone who writes, it is a way to get exposed to different approaches in writing. I hope to read more of your writing on your blog! =D x
