Summer is a favorite season of mine, where I get to explore the deep layers of my ever evolving wardrobe. It’s the moment I lean into colors, textures, and cuts. My style thrives in the summer and 2025 was proof that it is also evolving.
Unlike other summers, this was the one where I had the time and budget to pull my looks together. I considered a variety of factors; most importantly materials and colors that could transition into my fall wardrobe.
Creating a Successful Summer Wardrobe
So, I planned months in advance, because I knew I’ll be outside and I really wanted to feel good. And between toying with old and new pieces y’all can guess that I was impressed with these looks. I’m now just reminiscing about my looks, since I didn’t have enough time to write about each look in a post.
I wore this dress from Dodo Bar for a vacation dinner at Clearwater in Tampa. I am shocked that I fit into it because I had done some good eating before vacation and added a few pounds.

definitely a top outfit choice for most outdoor activities.

Planning Ahead
The slow crawl of chilly weather in October has me reminiscing about some of these amazing summer looks.
Despite living in the U.S. for eight years, I still get taken aback by the cooler months. However, I am hoping to change that this year. So, before I kick off fall content, I am making a space on the blog to remember these outfits.
