Styling neutral colors like white and black can be very generic, but when done right it is sublime. I don’t know how many people think of black when they talk about neutral colors; a little confession, black never comes to mind for me. According to infoplease, colors that don’t show up on the color wheel are neutral colors, for example, black, grey, white, beige or colors we refer to as earth tone.
One smart trick to keep in mind when styling neutral colors, is to think about what accessories can make your outfit stand out. Hairband or colorful scarves are my favorite things to spot when styling neutral colors, as seen in the above image.
Other times, I choose outfits with unique cuts, beaded embroidery, as seen with the image above. In recent times adding a square scarf as an additional accessory piece, can spice up your look

Your makeup as well, maybe a bold lip colour or eye makeup can be use to style up your neutrals in and maybe different textures and patterns of neutral can make for a whole new look ♥

I totally agree with you on this one. A bold lip color can definitely switch up a neutral look.
