Closed Mouths Don’t Get Fed

culled from her own label

“Oh!
She TRIED it!” Have you ever been upset about something to the point where
you begin to tell everyone in the world just exactly what happened to
you. I’m talking full details

who
did it, location, and everything! Let’s keep it real. However, it is so
important to watch the words that proceed out of our mouths.

Our
mouths are a door that give life to whatever it is that we speak on. If we
continue to speak out of the emotions of anger or offense,  eventually we
harbor unforgiveness and resentment in our hearts.

At
this point, we give leeway for the enemy to come into our thoughts and keep us
bound with a weight that gives another individual the power to control our
mood.

.
Who wants that? Not cute. We have the choice to refrain from words that will
eventually do us harm.  Brush it off, slip on your heels, and keep it
moving.

Stop giving life to a situation that cannot be changed. “Set a
guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.” Psalm
141:3.
