All to know about my recent obsession with House of Leon and post modernist interior
At the tail end of the pandemic lockdown, I felt compelled to document life outside of fashion—a side of myself that didn’t always make it onto my main platforms. It led me to start a weekend series called Home Echo. What began as a hobby—sharing simple moments and activities around the home—quickly became a creative outlet and led me to discover and collaborate with inspiring brands like Atlina and Burrow. Through these partnerships and personal projects, I realized how much joy I found in curating and shaping my own living environment. After the pandemic, life shifted; I shelved the series, wrote less about home, and returned my focus to fashion.

Now, I’m picking up the series again—this time to document my journey of redesigning my new space. A lot has changed since 2020: I’ve moved four times, earned another graduate degree in computer science, and even relaunched my leather goods brand. Most recently, I took a big leap and moved into a new apartment that gives me more room (pun intended) to explore creatively, curate pieces I love, and share my evolving taste and perspective.
For context, here are a few images that capture my living spaces over the last three years. I’ve often mentioned that Japandi—a blend of Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian functionality—is the interior design style I’m naturally drawn to. The calm, neutral palette and focus on simplicity have always felt grounding to me, especially during times of change.

In today’s post, I will highlight brands on my radar, whose products I am currently obsessing over as I put together ideas for my interior that reflects my lifestyle, personality, and evolving interests.
House of Leon Furnitures
House of Leon feels like a gentle bridge between Japandi and post-modernist decor. I’ve spent weeks browsing their collection and love how their furniture reimagines everyday life into quality, artful pieces. Their sculptural chairs and tables would seamlessly fit into a minimal setting, yet still make a statement. Here are a few items I’d love to add to my space.

Diffusers
Scent is just as important as visuals in creating an inviting home. I’m currently eyeing a few minimal, sculptural diffusers that double as decor—elevating the mood as soon as you walk in.
Nordic Knots Rugs
Their hand-tufted, Scandinavian-inspired rugs bring warmth and subtle pattern to any space. I’m drawn to their neutral palettes and timeless designs, which serve as a perfect foundation for layering in more playful or vintage pieces.

Outlight Lighting
Lighting can transform a room, and Outlight’s modern fixtures strike a balance between function and artistry. Their unique lamps and pendants are high on my wishlist, as I believe lighting is one of the most underrated tools in shaping the feel of a home.

Conclusion
As I embark on this new chapter of designing my home, I’m excited to experiment, evolve, and share every step of the process with you. Home Echo is not just about aesthetics, it’s about crafting a living space that genuinely reflects who I am in this moment. Each move, each new piece, and each shift in style has taught me that home is a journey, not a destination.
I hope this series inspires you to explore your own tastes, embrace new styles, and find joy in creating a space that feels uniquely yours. Whether you gravitate towards minimalism, post-modernism, or something entirely different, your home should always tell your story.
