WE’RE THE ONES WHO’VE MADE A MESS OF THINGS! #OOTD

One favourite part of the Bible to me that never looses its humour and its ability to reveal life in its practical way, has to be the book of ecclesiastes
so I want to share what I came across today..
ECC 7:23-29
“I tested everything in my search for wisdom, I set out to be wise, but it was beyond me, far beyond me, and deep, so deep! does anyone ever find it? I concentrated with all my might, studying and exploring and seeking wisdom, the meaning of life. I also wanted to identify evil and stupidity, foolishness and craziness.

one discovery: A woman can be a bitter pill to swallow, full of seductive scheming and grasping. the lucky escape her, the undiscerning get caught.
At least that is my experience. what I, the Quester, have pieced together as I’ve tried to make sense of life. But the wisdom I’ve looked for I haven’t found.

I didn’t find one man or woman in a thousand worth my while. yet I did spot one ray of light i  this murk:(noun: darkness or thick mist that makes it difficult to see.)

God made men and women true and upright: we’re the ones who’ve made a mess of things
CHAPTER 8:1
there’s nothing better than being wise, knowing how to interpret the meaning of life. wisdom puts light in the eyes. and gives gentleness to words and manners!
I do hope you enjoyed todays soul food! the Bible is complete and his word always remains true to itself! find a bible you can relate with and reading the word would get easy

I'm already following you on Instagram but this is my first time visiting your blog! Ecclesiastes is one of my fave books in the bible. So much wisdom. I think it's great that you shared your thoughts about that passage!

I tend to 'forget' about some books in the Bible, but this has definitely encouraged me to read that tiny book full of wisdom again, thanks Grace! Besides, looking gorgeous as always 🙂
