AFTER SEEKING VALIDATION WHAT NEXT

We live in very sad times where a person/peoples approval holds more weight than our actual conviction. Advancement in technology has not made approaching issues in regards to validation easy. Features like polls and comments, like and dislike buttons, ratings etc, end up influencing our earlier choices on what we want to do and how we need to do it.

Asides from polls, dating apps is another subtle means people feel the need to get validation, questions like “does someone like me enough, am I considered beautiful based on race, height, color of skin and the list continues. We tend to be stuck on the idea of how someone feels us. Validation is not always a bad idea when it is given or requested for the right reason.

However, lately I have began to ask myself after validation whats next, how much of someones affirmation goes into how your decisions are being made? please answer in the comment session.

what does validation mean? recognition or affirmation that a person or their feelings or opinions are valid or worthwhile”.

 OUTFIT DETAILS
Spring is finally on with full effect, that means less clad clothing and the ability to appreciate the beauty flowers bring to our environment. This shoot would not have been possible without the help of a good friend in my graduate school, who happens to own a dope camera.

My gown is from a thrift store including my shoes, but my shoes have a label (*winks) they are Karen Millen

Its a tough one really. While it's important to make decisions based on how you feel about yourself and not one others thing, its a hard one. But it really is a slippery slope letting people define how you feel about you or why you do the things you do. While it's not bad to take in all the likes, dislikes etc, it is so important not get caught up.
