ANKARA ROOTS

When I started blogging which was in 2011, it was important that I blogged about native prints (Ankara) it gave me so much joy doing it, as I felt I was representing our culture through fashion in a beautiful light, over time I’ve drifted, but from time to time when I can I shed light on the beautiful nature of the Ankara and today is one of them…. wearing a gown I made by myself with a shoe from primark
Thanks for the comments below…xoxo..

The fabric doesn't even look like ankara, so gorgeous. I love the fact that you make your clothes yourself sometimes. You actually inspired me to join a tailoring class! xx
