As a fashion writer and stylist, sometimes I seek inspiration from brands especially during the holiday season. When Petal and Pulp reached out through my agent with a sneak peek of their new holiday collection, I was excited because it meant showing up to the festive events this season in style and it also coincided with the shoot for my annual holiday look book.
Petal and Pulp, is an Australian based known for their effortless feminine aesthetic and knack for romantic outfits. Though I'd never ordered from them before and was skeptical about sizing and quality, I had high hopes for their holiday offering. Another great thing about purchasing from their website this time of the year, is the huge discount on a range of items including the ones featured in todays post.
Thankfully the package arrived just in time for my annual Christmas style photoshoot. I carefully unpacked each tissue wrapped item, delighted to find the fabrics and silhouettes just as charming in person. The white eyelet lace, rich gold brocades, winter white knits, and chocolate brown velvets captured the magical essence of the season.
Holiday Festive Green Silk (Shop Here)
A favorite look from all four was this midi silk green dress. The feel on my skin was whimsical but the color more magical that I wore it for dinner the first time I tried it on. I’ve kept my accessories almost similar across all looks for todays post.
Angelic feather dress
Paired with black heels from Sophia Webster, this fairy feather dress is a show stopper for a holiday event. Depending on where you are in the globe, you may need an extra layer of jacket to cozy up. The sleeveless cut and delicate details of the feathers and belt, makes this a chic fashionable look.
Glimmers in liquid gold (Shop Here)
The slinky hammered satin slip dress which looks metallic in the light gives the look an edge. I paired this with a chunky orange necklace and all matching gold accessories down to my shoe for an extra dose of holiday richness.
Rich brown Leather
Makes a final statement in look four with a gorgeous knot vegan leather skirt. The vintage silhouette feels modern with two splits in front that reveals a shot skirt. Paired with long leggings and a transparent black turtle neck top, this look gives the right amount of sultry and fierce.
As I style and photograph the looks, I’m impressed by the quality and design at such an affordable price point. Petal and Pulp has won me over this holiday season. Their dedication to thoughtful details and fabulous fit has earned them a spot in my closet year round. I can’t wait to style these pieces at all my upcoming holiday events, receiving compliments galore!
